Motherhood is one messy job!
So far today I have been pooped on, spit up on (three or four times), had a sauteed red pepper thrown at me, gotten soaked after giving the two girls baths, taken out the garbage and had the nasty water from the garbage can lids drip on me, gotten mud in between all my toes after stepping in the squishy spot in our lawn, and have grass stains on my knees from playing tag with Claire and Stella. And it's only 3 pm. Sigh. I'm off to get myself and the girls cleaned up, yet again.

Wow, what a day. At least you had some fun playing tag. I agree it can get pretty messy and you didn't even fingerpaint.
I hope you are doing OK without Matt. From my limited experience business travel isn't that much fun for anyone involved.
