Actions

Lately Claire and I have been discussing good actions v. bad actions. It all started when I told her she was being naughty and she looked at me and said "No mommy, I'm a good girl." I then realized I needed to help her understand that she is a good girl but sometimes she does naughty things. Hence, the naughty actions talk(s). Well, we have been teaching her how to ride a bike. She and I were outside practicing and she rode to the corner and back all by herself (with a little help turning around from mom). I told her she did a really good job pedaling by herself. She looked at me with wide eyes and said, "It's totally all about the action mom!"
