Out of the mouth of babes...or in this case, Claire

This morning I had to run an errand for Matt in Ogden. We were driving along, singing to Carrie Underwood's CD when someone cut us off. I swerved to avoid hitting them and then said (loudly) "What a bad driver!". Claire looks up from her book and says solemnly, "Mommy, let Jesus take the wheel." [For those of you that don't know, that is one of the songs from the CD we were listening to.] I laughed all the way to our designation and back, but then it hit me that Claire had just taught me a great lesson. That we aren't in control, He is and we need to let Him be in control so he can get us to where He wants us to be.

I even laughed a second time after reading this again! What a doll! And so true! Isn't it a great thought that we don't need to worry about when or where we'll go or even get injured because he truly is protecting us until the appropriate time!
