Today was Stella's blessing day. We decided to have the blessing at our home, hence it was on a Saturday. Most of our family made it, only Traci (Matt's sister) and mom and dad Allen weren't able to attend. We missed them!
Matt gave Stella a beautiful blessing and she didn't cry too much! I have to admit that when I heard the thud of the binky landing on the ground, I groaned inside my head. But, she didn't really cry, just kind of cried, if that makes any sense! Mike, Scott (my brothers), Steven (my sister's husband), Brad (Traci's husband), and Rafe (Matt's brother) helped out with the blessing. We are grateful for such a supportive family! And I'm very grateful for a husband who is a worthy priesthood holder.
After the blessing, we all went outside to enjoy some yummy food with the fantastic weather. It was fun to have everyone over and be able to visit and enjoy one another's company. Every time we get together, I want to do it more! Especially because the kids have so much fun together.
